This Role Is Ideal for you, If you have:

5+ years teaching in UK schools

Strong experience with iGCSE Edexcel and A Levels

Confidence delivering practical science across all sciences

Experience in online environments

Desire to work with small and focused groups

Ability to travel regularly to our Birmingham Hub

Passion for inspiring both secondary and primary students

Requirements

Degree in Science or related field

Minimum 5 years UK teaching experience

Online + in-person teaching experience

Confident with Zoom & Google Workspace

PGCE/QTS or Equivalent

Experience with GCSE & A-Level Physics

Is this role fully remote?

No, this is a hybrid role. While a significant portion of teaching is delivered online, regular travel to our Birmingham Learning Hub is required for practical lab days and in-person student support.

How often do I need to attend the Birmingham Hub?

Typically, we expect attendance 1-2 days per week or for block Science Lab sessions, depending on the academic calendar and specific Science events.

How easy is it to get to the Birmingham Hub?

The Hub is centrally located and easily accessible from across the UK. Free parking is available at Victoria Common Car Park, and Northfield Train Station is just a 15-minute walk away with trains running every 20 minutes from Birmingham New Street towards Redditch.

What curriculum do you follow?

We have developed our own curriculum for primary Science to be delivered in person and online. At Secondary, we teach the Edexcel curriculum for Science at iGCSE and A Level, focusing on academic excellence and practical application.

What is the class size?

We maintain strict small-class policies, with a maximum of 10 students per class to ensure personalised attention and high engagement.

What happens after I apply?

Our recruitment team reviews all applications. Successful candidates will be invited for an initial online screening, followed by a teaching demonstration and an in-person meeting at our Birmingham Hub.

What is the Salary Expectation

Salaries will be discussed once the candidates are short listed and will be based on experience and our timetabling needs.
