Has experience teaching Computer Science, including GCSE/IGCSE level

Is passionate about AI & digital innovation

Can bring future-focused thinking into the classroom

Inspires students to create, build, experiment, and solve real-world problems

Understands that Computer Science is about much more than coding

Wants to help develop exciting new courses, projects, and learning experiences

Shares our values of curiosity, innovation, growth mindset, and inclusion

Desirable

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching online and 3+ years teaching in British Schools

Knowledge of Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS, JavaScript & AI tools

Experience creating video tutorials and digital learning resources

Experience with project-based or STEAM learning

Experience with GCSE & A-Level Computer Science

Is this a physical or fully remote teaching position?

This is a 100% online, fully remote role. You will deliver all lessons virtually from your own home studio, allowing you the flexibility to teach from anywhere in the UK or anywhere in the world.

Does UKVS provide the hardware and teaching equipment?

As a purely virtual school, UKVS does not supply physical hardware or tech gear. We look for tech-savvy educators who already possess a reliable, high-performance home setup—including a multi-screen display, crisp webcam, and professional microphone—to ensure a premium digital delivery.

What is the class size?

We maintain strict small-class policies, with a maximum of 10 students per class to ensure personalised attention and high engagement.

What happens after I apply?

Our recruitment team reviews all applications. Successful candidates will be invited for an initial online screening, followed by a teaching demonstration and an in-person meeting at our Birmingham Hub.

What is the Salary Expectation

Salaries will be discussed once the candidates are short listed and will be based on experience and our timetabling needs.
